Job summary

New Zealand Police is seeking a Frontline Station Support Officer at the Kaitaia Police Station in Northland. You will provide frontline customer service, welcome visitors, and ensure enquiries are understood and handled with professionalism, empathy, and respect.

Qualifications

A sound knowledge of computer applications, in particular Microsoft suites.

Responsibilities

Dealing with challenging circumstances in a customer services environment.
Managing challenging situations involving members of the public in a professional, respectful and empathetic manner.
Recording of complaints from members of the public, answering general enquiries and performing reception duties such as managing contractors and visitor access.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent keyboard and computer skills, with sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
