Cordis, Auckland by Langham Hospitality Group is seeking a Front Office Team Leader to support daily Front Office operations and lead by example in delivering exceptional guest experiences at New Zealand’s leading hotel. You will coach and develop front desk colleagues, manage VIP guests and ensure smooth check-ins and check-outs.

The ideal candidate has Front Office hotel experience, strong guest service skills, and a proactive, organized approach with a willingness to work a rotating roster,

Qualifications

• Front Office experience in a hotel environment.
• Excellent customer service mindset and guest-centric approach.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Confident communicator who builds relationships with guests and colleagues.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to stay calm and professional in busy front-desk moments.
• Proactive, organized and able to use initiative.
• Great attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and oversee Front Office operations to deliver high‑standard guest service.
• Support day‑to‑day Front Office operations and guest check-ins/outs.
• Manage VIP guests, requests, and enquiries with professionalism.
• Address guest inquiries and complaints empathetically and efficiently.
• Coach and develop Front Office staff; support ongoing team development.
• Ensure hotel standards and procedures are consistently followed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.
• Participate in Duty Manager shifts when rostered.
