Job summary

Ideal candidates will have experience in similar roles, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of transport software like M2X is advantageous. Must reside in New Zealand with right to work.

Emmerson Transport Limited is a privately-owned company that operates in excess of 80 large units plus a host of ancillary equipment, which makes the Company one of the largest independent operators in the transport industry. The Company operates out of four strategically placed North Island depots.

As a Freight Services Administrator reporting to the Freight Services Manager, you will be responsible for:

Customer service and first impressions

Gatekeeping and visitor management

Transport administration.

Using M2X software, experience with this would be an advantage

The ideal candidate will have the following:

Experience in a similar role.

The ability to work under pressure.

Competent level of written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

This means you'll need to multitask, juggle priorities and personalities to deliver the work requirements; all whilst consistently having an awesome phone and email manner, along with a professional style at the reception desk.

You get a buzz from being busy, you're a quick learner and you have demonstrated that you're accurate and reliable. You'll also have a good command of the Microsoft Office suite - and ideally the use of transport or similar software.
