Job summary

Emmerson Transport Ltd is seeking a Night Store person to join our Hastings-based warehouse team. Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, dispatching orders, stock transfers, processing incoming goods, restocking supplies and ensuring safe storage.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a similar role, a current forklift license, excellent customer service and the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Forklift license currently held is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Job description

Emmerson Transport are looking for a Night Store person.

Loading and unloading our trucks
Dispatching orders and completing stock transfers
Processing Incoming goods
Re-stocking supplies as required
Ensuring stock is stored correctly and safely
Completing stock takes and other warehouse duties
Class 2 - 5 license would be an advantage

The ideal candidate will have the following:

A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
A current forklift license.
Excellent customer service.
The ability to work under pressure.
Must have experience with both short and long forks.
Good basic administrative skills.
Competent level of written and verbal communication skills.
Well presented

You'll be passionate about delivering great customer service, enjoy solving problems, and be strong on attention to detail. You'll understand the importance of following systems, processes, and policies, and knowing who's who. Along with this, you are a strong communicator and team player, who stays calm and is resilient when the pressure gets turned up.
