Four Square Otaika, part of Foodstuffs North Island, is seeking a Store Assistant in Whangārei. You’ll provide friendly customer service at the checkout, help with filling shelves, and assist with deliveries; no two days are the same.

We are a busy, community-focused store valuing energy, reliability and teamwork. Closing shifts and at least one weekend day are required. Applicants must have the right to work in New Zealand.

Qualificações

• Previous retail, supermarket or grocery experience preferred.

About the role

As a Store Assistant, you'll be involved in all aspects of keeping our store running smoothly. From delivering awesome customer service at the checkouts to filling shelves and unpacking deliveries, no two days are the same!

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing friendly, fast and exceptional customer service
• Operating checkouts and assisting customers
• Filling shelves and ensuring products are well stocked and presented
• Unpacking deliveries and replenishing stock
• Keeping the store clean, tidy and looking its best
• Supporting the wider team wherever needed

Hours of work

We're looking for someone who can work closing shifts, typically starting around 10–11am and finishing at 7:45pm.

You must be available to work at least one weekend day.

What we're looking for

• A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to get stuck in
• A genuine passion for delivering great customer service
• A strong work ethic, reliability and initiative
• Someone who works well in a team and can also work independently
• Previous retail, supermarket or grocery experience is preferred
• Flexibility to work closing shifts and weekends
