Job summary

PAK’nSAVE Tamatea is seeking a dedicated Grocery Cleaner to keep the Grocery, Chilled, Frozen & Liquor areas spotless and compliant with hygiene standards. This part-time role covers evening shifts across Sunday to Thursday with 20 hours per week, offering a supportive store environment.

The ideal candidate has cleaning experience, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to work independently. You will be reliable, honest and prepared for a bit of hard work in a fast-paced store setting.

About the role:

As a Grocery Cleaner, you’ll be right at the heart of the action, keeping our busy Grocery, Chilled, Frozen & Liquor departments clean, safe, and ready for the next trading day. These fast-paced areas serve large volumes of customers daily, so your role is essential in keeping things running smoothly and up to the highest hygiene standards.

We have a part-time role available, on the roster listed below:

Grocery Cleaner: 20 hours

Sunday: 8:00pm - 12:00am

Monday: 8:00pm - 12:00am

Tuesday: 8:00pm - 12:00am

Thursday: 8:00pm - 12:00am

For candidates looking for additional hours, there may be an opportunity to work as aNightfill Assistantas well!

You'll be responsible for:

• Cleaning and maintaining the departments to a very high standard to meet food safety regulations
• Maintaining a meticulous approach with strong attention to detail
• Communicating any cleaning issues or shortages of cleaning products to the Duty Manager
• Adhering to the required cleaning procedures
• Assisting customers with queries when required
• Assisting with the wider operations team where required

About you:
