Job summary

CGR Services in Auckland is seeking reliable Counterbalance Forklift Drivers for ongoing, stable work within a busy warehouse. You will operate a counterbalance forklift, load and unload trucks, and move and store stock.

Applicants should have forklift experience, a valid forklift licence, good physical fitness, reliable transport, and a strong commitment to safety. This role offers Monday to Friday shifts, up to 40 hours per week, and weekly pay.

Responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Move and store stock within the warehouse.

• Receive and check incoming stock.
• Maintain an organised and clean warehouse.
• Assist with stock movement and safety procedures.

About the Role

• As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, your responsibilities may include:
• Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Moving and storing stock within the warehouse
• Picking and preparing customer orders
• Loading goods for dispatch
• Receiving and checking incoming stock
• Completing general warehouse duties as required
• Maintaining an organised and clean warehouse
• Assisting with manual handling and stock movement
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures

About You

• To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Previous counterbalance forklift experience
• A current forklift licence or relevant forklift certification (advantageous)
• Previous warehouse experience (preferred)
• A clean Ministry of Justice record
• Good attention to detail
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
• Good physical fitness and ability to undertake manual handling
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transport to and from work
• Good communication skills
• A willingness to learn and follow instructions
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
