Job summary

Stellar Recruitment in New Zealand is seeking experienced Reach & Counterbalance Forklift Operators for a leading global 3PL. You will operate forklifts safely to support order fulfilment, stock accuracy, and general warehouse tasks.

Day and afternoon shifts available, Monday to Friday with Saturday shifts possible; locations in South Auckland and Manukau. Weekly pay, free on-site parking, and opportunities for long-term progression.

Qualifications

• Current Reach and/or Counterbalance forklift licence.
• Full NZ Driver Licence.
• Previous warehouse and forklift operating experience.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and Ministry of Justice check.
• RF scanning and inventory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Reach and/or Counterbalance forklifts
• Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders
• Replenish stock and move inventory throughout the warehouse
• Load and unload trucks and containers
• Conduct stock counts and inventory checks
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures

Job description

As a Forklift Operator, you'll play a key role in warehouse operations, ensuring stock is accurately moved, stored, and dispatched. You'll be operating Reach and/or Counterbalance forklifts, supporting order fulfilment, replenishment, and general warehouse activities. Experience operating a man-up forklift is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Reach and/or Counterbalance forklifts
• Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders

What we're looking for:

• Current Reach and/or Counterbalance Forklift Licence
• Full NZ Driver Licence
• Previous warehouse and forklift operating experience
• Man-up forklift experience is advantageous
• RF scanning and inventory experience preferred
• Two contactable work references
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 25kg
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and Ministry of Justice check
