Job summary

Programmed Maintenance Services – Wiri, North Island, seeks a reliable Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a leading warehouse team in New Zealand. You will operate a counterbalance forklift, load and unload trucks, and move stock within the warehouse, contributing to accurate order preparation and efficient flows.

The role offers Monday to Friday work, ongoing training, a safety-focused environment and up to 40 hours per week. A current forklift licence is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous counterbalance forklift experience.
• A current forklift licence or relevant forklift certification (advantageous).
• Previous warehouse experience (preferred).
• A clean Ministry of Justice record.
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude; Good physical fitness and ability to undertake manual handling.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transport to and from work.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Moving and storing stock within the warehouse.
• Picking and preparing customer orders.
• Receiving and checking incoming stock.
• Completing general warehouse duties as required.
• Maintaining an organised and clean warehouse.
• Assisting with manual handling and stock movement.
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures.
