Job summary

Programmed GO is recruiting for Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join a leading warehouse and distribution team in New Zealand. The role involves operating a counterbalance forklift, loading and unloading trucks, and moving stock within the warehouse to ensure accurate picking and order preparation.

The successful candidate will have forklift experience, a current licence or certification (advantageous), and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Clean Ministry of Justice record.

About the Role

• As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, your responsibilities may include:
• Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Moving and storing stock within the warehouse
• Picking and preparing customer orders
• Receiving and checking incoming stock
• Completing general warehouse duties as required
• Maintaining an organised and clean warehouse
• Assisting with manual handling and stock movement
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures

About You

• To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Previous counterbalance forklift experience
• A current forklift licence or relevant forklift certification (advantageous)
• Previous warehouse experience (preferred)
• A clean Ministry of Justice record
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
• Good physical fitness and ability to undertake manual handling
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transport to and from work
• A willingness to learn and follow instructions
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
