Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking experienced Reach Forklift Operators to join a busy production site in Wiri. You will operate a Reach forklift safely, move stock, and help keep production flowing.

This role offers 6:00am–2:00pm, Monday to Friday with no weekend work, weekly pay at $26/hour, and potential for ongoing long-term work. Immediate start for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Valid NZ Reach Forklift Licence.
• Previous Reach forklift experience.
• Previous warehouse or production site experience preferred.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Strong safety awareness.
• Good communication and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Reach forklift safely and efficiently.
• Move, load and unload stock.
• Pick and put away stock.
• Supply materials to the production area.
• Keep inventory organised and accurate.
• Assist with general warehouse and production duties.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Work with the team to achieve daily targets.

• Picking and putting away stock
• Supplying materials to the production area
• Keeping inventory organised and accurate
• Assisting with general warehouse and production duties
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Working with the team to achieve daily targets

What We're Looking For

• Valid NZ Reach Forklift Licence
• Previous Reach forklift experience
• Previous warehouse or production site experience preferred
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Strong safety awareness

Important Requirements

As this is a role within a production site, successful applicants must be able to meet the following requirements:

• Clear Ministry of Justice (MOJ) conviction check
• Good previous work references
• Ability to successfully pass a pre‑employment drug screen
• Valid forklift licence and relevant experience
• Reliable attendance and commitment to Monday-Friday work
