Job summary

Team Global Express NZ is looking for a Freight Operator in Christchurch for an afternoon shift. You will load/unload freight, scan goods, and keep operations moving on time in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Work requires a full NZ Class 1 license, forklift with OSH cert, and ideally a Dangerous Goods endorsement. A customer-focused mindset and strong communication are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating in New Zealand from Kaitaia to Invercargill.

Afternoon Shift:

Monday - Friday, Earliest start 10am, latest start 3pm.

About the role - Mō te tūranga

In this hands-on role, you'll be loading and unloading freight, scanning, sorting and keeping everything moving safely and on time. No two days are the same - its' a fast-paced, physical role where teamwork is key.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload all freight safely and securely, for both road and rail units.
• Achieve branch operational objectives by using On-time to scan freight efficiently.
• Ensure all equipment is operated in a safe and proficient manner.
• Maintain good working relationships.
• Communicate effectively within a team environment

• Clean Full NZ Class 1 License – must have
• Forklift License with OSH cert – must have
