Job summary

InterContinental Wellington in the heart of the waterfront city seeks a Food & Beverage Supervisor. You will lead service excellence, guide daily operations, and ensure a standout guest experience with consistent standards.

You’ll mentor the team, assist with staffing, onboarding and performance management, and contribute to a lively guest-focused environment. Bring hospitality passion and a collaborative spirit to grow with IHG's programs.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and be comfortable interacting with guests and other team members.
• Ability to problem solve and remain calm in busy periods.
• Flexibility to work a range of hours, including afternoons, evenings and public holidays.
• A strong team player attitude.
• 2+ years' experience in a restaurant, bar or hotel environment.

Food & Beverage Supervisor

Your day to day

As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will use your friendly attitude and passion for hospitality to help create great experiences for our guests. You’ll manage daily tasks, support smooth operations, and make sure we deliver excellent service at all times.

You’ll lead your team by working alongside them, giving support, training, and guidance. You’ll also help with staffing, onboarding, and performance management to build a motivated and service focused team

What we need from you

• Strong communication skills and be comfortable interacting with guests and other team members
