Job summary

InterContinental Wellington is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead our team and ensure exceptional hospitality experiences. You will oversee daily operations, train staff, manage onboarding and performance, and help with staffing across outlets while maintaining the highest standards of service.

You will work closely with your team, stay calm under pressure, and adapt to a range of hours including afternoons, evenings and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a restaurant, bar or hotel environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm and solve problems in busy periods.
• Flexible to work afternoons, evenings and public holidays.
• A strong team player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Food & Beverage operations with a guest-first approach.

We are currently looking for a talentedFood & Beverage Supervisor to join our team.

Your day to day

As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will use your friendly attitude and passion for hospitality to help create great experiences for our guests. You’ll manage daily tasks, support smooth operations, and make sure we deliver excellent service at all times.

You’ll lead your team by working alongside them, giving support, training, and guidance. You’ll also help with staffing, onboarding, and performance management to build a motivated and service focused team

What we need from you

• Strong communication skills and be comfortable interacting with guests and other team members

• The ability to problem solve & remain calm in busy periods

• Flexibility to work a range of hours, which includes but is not limited to afternoons, evenings & public holidays

• A strong team player attitude

• 2+ years' experience in a restaurant, bar or hotel environment
