Carter’s Tyre Service in Cromwell is seeking a Fleet Service Tyre Technician to join our Fleet Service team. You will manage tyres on client fleets, handle callouts, and work across trucks, heavy equipment, and off-road vehicles.

The role emphasizes delivering top customer service and safety in a busy workshop environment. Responsibilities include tyre fitting, puncture repairs, fleet inspections, after-hours support, and thorough paperwork.

Qualifications

• NZ Full Drivers Licence; clean record.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised in a busy workshop.

Responsibilities

• Strip and fit tyres as required.
• Repair punctures following management guidelines.
• Perform fleet inspections and report unsafe tyres.
• Notify customers of faults like wheel alignments.
• Attend to after-hours callouts when required.
• Manage stock levels and retreads as needed.
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and protect personal safety.
• Make daily calls to customers per run sheets.
• Complete and submit paperwork daily with order details.
