Job summary

Bridgestone New Zealand is seeking a Fleet Service Technician for our Christchurch commercial store to keep fleet vehicles safe and on time. The role is hands-on and varied, with on-site tyre fitting, in-store work, and direct customer interaction.

You’ll be trained from the ground up, with structured on-the-job training, a clear path to progression, and a safety-first culture. Expect $27–$33 per hour, full uniform and PPE, and discounts on tyres and servicing for you and your family.

Qualifications

• Full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work.
• Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in doing things right.
• Eligible to live and work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Tyre fitting, maintenance and repairs – in-store and on-site at customer locations.
• Keeping job cards and records accurate and up to date.
• Delivering great customer service, face-to-face and over the phone.
• Occasional on-call weekend work (rostered, not random).
