Job summary

Recruitnz in New Zealand is seeking an experienced Tyre Technician to service agricultural and fleet vehicles, performing tyre fitting, repairs, balancing and wheel alignments to a high standard.

The role requires at least 3 years of relevant experience, ability to carry out puncture repairs and tube fitments, and a commitment to safety and customer service. You may attend fleet callouts and some after-hours or weekend work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant tyre work experience.
• Strong technical ability in tyre fitting, repairs, balancing and wheel alignments.
• Full NZ driver’s licence (Class 1 and Class 2) or equivalent.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• Good English communication and teamwork skills.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
• Manual tyre removal experience
• Strong technical ability in tyre fitting, repairs, balancing and wheel alignments
• Positive attitude and commitment to customer service
• Flexibility to work after hours or weekends for fleet service callouts
• Full driver's licence equivalent to NZ Class 1 and Class 2
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Strong physical fitness and stamina
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to meet English language requirements (PTE Academic score of 29 or IELTS overall band score of 4.0)
• Ability to build positive working relationships and work effectively as part of a team
