Job summary

Proactive Fire Protection in Auckland, NZ is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join the team. You will be involved in servicing, fault-finding, inspection, and commissioning of fire alarm systems within a supportive, community-focused company.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate of NZD 50–60, a company vehicle, iPhone and tools, ongoing training, and stable long-term employment. You will contribute to high-quality service and work across a range of fire safety and building

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting, servicing, fault-finding, or commissioning fire alarm systems.
• Ability to work in a professional, supportive team.

The Role

You will support our service and compliance teams in the servicing, fault-finding, repair, inspection, and commissioning of fire alarm systems. You will work in a positive team environment where we continually grow our capabilities together, support one another, and take pride in delivering excellent service.

Work includes a wide variety of fire protection and building compliance services, including fire alarms, emergency lighting, compliance inspections, automatic doors, access control systems, smoke curtains, passive fire protection systems, and other specialist building systems.
