Job summary

Argus Fire Protection in Waikato, Hamilton, is seeking an experienced fire alarm tester/surveyor to join the Argus Team. You will test and survey fire alarm systems on site, ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering exceptional service to clients.

Excellent remuneration based on experience. NZ residency required. You will work with a fantastic team on key accounts, with ongoing training and career prospects within a well‑established company.

Qualifications

• NZ residency required.
• Experienced fire alarm tester or surveyor are sought.
• Knowledge of fire protection systems, regulations and standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test and survey fire alarm systems on client sites in the Waikato region.
• Work closely with the team to deliver high‑quality service and documentation.

We have an exciting opportunity available to join us within the Argus Team.

Argus Fire Protection is a well‑known New Zealand company with over 30 years' experience in the fire protection industry. We cover all aspects including fire system design, installation and ongoing testing and maintenance of fire systems.

You’ll be working with a fantastic team of people and be working on some of the best sites and key accounts within the Waikato Region.

The role will utilize your current skills while developing and upskilling you into all aspects of fire protection systems.

We are on the lookout for a customer focused, self‑motivated technician who is passionate about delivering exceptional service to our clients.

• Ability to work to deadlines and meet promises
• Experienced fire alarm tester or surveyor
• Practical technical knowledge and understanding of fire protection systems of all types, have worked in the industry for some time and know the regulations and standards preferably with industry qualifications.
