Install, test and commission fire alarm systems across commercial and industrial projects
Take ownership of jobs from commencement through to completion
Lead installation work and coordinate with other trades on site
Read and interpret fire alarm, electrical and construction drawings
Complete cabling, termination and installation of fire alarm devices and equipment
Carry out testing, fault finding and troubleshooting
Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and documentation
Communicate confidently with clients, contractors and project teams
Work independently while providing leadership and support where required
Significant experience in fire alarm installation - this is essential
Proven ability to confidently lead and own a job
Strong practical understanding of fire alarm systems and installation
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Clear, confident communication skills
Commercial and/or industrial fire alarm experience
Someone who is organised, reliable and takes pride in their work
Relevant fire alarm or electrical qualifications are an advantage, but experience is the major factor
Full NZ driver's licence
Full-time, permanent position based in Queenstown
