Fire Security Services – Hamilton, North Island is seeking a Senior Alarm Technician with a minimum of five years’ on-the-tools experience in fire alarm systems used in New Zealand. The role includes installation work, fault diagnosis, and rostered after-hours on-call duties.

Following growth in our customer portfolio we are seeking an additional Senior Alarm Technician to join our team.
This is a full-time position with a guaranteed 40 hours per week. We provide our customers with 24/7 callout support therefore the role includes rostered on call duties.
The nature of the work involves keeping cool under pressure and thinking on your feet to problem solve. Your positive attitude, effective communication skills and sense of humor will help you to get along with customers and the team.
To hit the ground running, you will need to bring a minimum of five years’ experience “on the tools” and have a full valid NZ Driver License, and knowledge of fire alarm systems used in NZ and the NZ & AU Fire Alarm Standards.
You will be required to undergo pre-employment drug testing.
You will be able to take up this role within four weeks.
