The role focuses on acquiring new SME customers and developing long-term merchant relationships across sectors like restaurants, cafés, retail, and services.

You will promote POS, EFTPOS, and digital payment solutions, conduct face-to-face meetings and demonstrations, and build a robust sales pipeline for onboarding and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development and growing SME revenue.
• Proven ability to build and manage a sales pipeline.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new SME customers across Auckland and wider New Zealand.
• Promote POS, EFTPOS, payment and digital business solutions.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings, product demonstrations and merchant visits.
• Develop relationships with business owners and key decision-makers.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from prospecting to onboarding.
• Develop referral and strategic partnership channels.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with operations, technology and support teams to ensure success.
• Aim for agreed customer acquisition and revenue targets.
• Maintain relationships with existing SME customers and identify growth opportunities.
