Job summary

Ant Technology Limited (AntBank) in Auckland is seeking a Software Tester to ensure the reliability, security and accuracy of digital wallet, card issuing and payment systems before production. You will test card issuance, wallet transactions, databases, APIs and reconciliation, identify defects and verify security controls, with an emphasis on PCI DSS considerations and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Candidate should have a relevant qualification in CS/SE/IT or related discipline.
• Experience in software testing and QA.
• Understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience testing REST APIs and system integrations.
• Ability to prepare structured test cases and reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written technical documentation skills.
• Understanding of software and data security principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare test plans, scenarios, test cases and data.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression and UAT testing.
• Test web-based, mobile and backend applications.
• Identify, document and track defects to resolution.
• Retest corrected defects and perform regression testing.
• Verify delivered software meets requirements.
• Test card issuing, wallet, payment transactions, APIs and databases.
• Test API integrations and external payment-system connections.
• Document testing results and contribute to release readiness.
