Job summary

AntBank is seeking a Software Tester in Auckland to ensure fintech platforms, wallets and payment systems are reliable, secure and production-ready. You will design and execute tests across web, mobile and backend components, including card issuance, wallet transactions and API integrations.

You will work with QA and development teams to validate data integrity, security controls and comprehensive test coverage.

Qualifications

A relevant qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
Experience in software testing, quality assurance or software development.
Understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Experience testing REST APIs and system integrations.
Ability to prepare structured test cases and test reports.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to identify and reproduce complex software defects.
Good written technical documentation skills.
Understanding of software and data security principles.

Responsibilities

Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases and test data based on requirements.
Perform functional, integration, system, regression and UAT testing.
Test web-based, mobile and backend applications.
Identify, document and track defects through to resolution.
Retest corrected defects and conduct regression testing before production releases.
Verify that delivered software meets approved business and technical requirements.
