Job summary

Ant Technology Limited (AntBank) in Auckland is seeking a Software Tester for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role focuses on testing card issuance, wallets, APIs and database validation within a fintech context, with emphasis on security and data integrity.

You will design and execute test plans across web/mobile/backend platforms, manage defects, and support release readiness while collaborating with engineering and product teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in software testing, QA or software development.
• Understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience testing REST APIs and system integrations.
• Ability to prepare structured test cases and reports.

Responsibilities

• Prepare test plans, scenarios, test cases and data.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression and UAT testing.
• Test web, mobile and backend applications.
• Identify and track defects through to resolution.
• Retest and perform regression testing before releases.
• Verify delivery against requirements.
