Maritime NZ is seeking a fixed-term Manager Financial Operations to lead the Finance Operations team during a period of transformation. Reporting to the Chief Digital, Data and Finance Officer, you will oversee financial reporting, taxation, treasury, banking, insurance, compliance, audit and financial controls.

Formación

• CA qualification or equivalent is required.
• Minimum five years post-qualification experience.
• Experience leading finance operations, financial reporting and compliance functions.
• Strong understanding of taxation, treasury, financial controls and governance frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and drive process improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Finance Operations team and develop staff.
• Oversee financial operations, accounts payable/receivable, banking and cost recovery.
• Manage taxation, treasury and insurance programmes.
• Lead financial compliance and audit activities.
• Deliver annual statutory and executive financial reporting.
• Strengthen financial controls and risk management practices.
• Drive process improvement, automation and use of digital technologies and AI in financial operations.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships across the organisation.
