Job summary

Alpha Personnel Recruitment Ltd in Wellington is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead a small team delivering high‑quality financial, data analysis, and administrative services to the organisation. You will oversee financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, reporting, and internal controls.

The role requires CA/CPA membership, payroll experience with payroll tax knowledge, strong leadership and communication skills, and familiarity with Microsoft 365 and financial information

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant or CPA membership is essential (CA/CPA Australia or CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience managing payroll with knowledge of payroll tax and employment legislation.
• Strong people leadership, coaching skills and experience.
• Experience in not-for-profit or health sector is desirable.
• Proven communication and negotiation skills.
• Exceptional written communication with high-quality documents.
• Understanding of Microsoft 365 and Financial Information Systems.
• Sound analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Understanding of project management methodologies.

Our client is on the look out for an experience Finance Manager.Lead a small team to deliver high-quality financial, data analysis, and administrative services to the organisation.

You will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, reporting, analysis and insight, internal controls, payroll and administration.

Experience:

• Full Membership of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand is essential (CPA
  Australia or CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience managing payroll with knowledge of payroll tax and employment legislation.
• Strong people leadership, coaching skills and experience.
• Experience in not for profit or health sector is desirable.
• Proven communication and negotiation skills.
• Exceptional written communication, with extensive experience producing high standard
  professional documents.
• An understanding of the Microsoft 365 suite and Financial Information Systems.
