Job summary

Hunter Campbell is seeking a skilled finance leader to head the finance function in New Zealand. You will oversee cashflow, reporting, tax and compliance, and contribute to strategic planning and forecasting for leadership.

Responsibilities include month-end/ year-end processes, GST/compliance, payroll, fixed assets, and building budgets and three-year plans with the General Manager. A CA/CPA or equivalent and 2+ years in a similar role are required.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA or equivalent).
• 2+ years’ experience producing monthly and annual financial statements.
• Working knowledge of modern ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong analytical and written/verbal communication.
• GST, tax and statutory compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage cashflow daily, weekly and rolling 13-week forecasts.
• Deliver monthly P&L, balance sheet, budget vs actual, margins.
• GST, FBT, R&D credits, statutory filings and year-end audit data.
• Oversee payroll, creditors, reconciliations and asset schedules.
• Build budgets, forecasts and three-year plans with GM.
• Lead ERP usage and coordinate IT/HR support.
