Job summary

Hunter Campbell is seeking a Commercial Finance Partner to lead pricing, volume, margin and mix decisions across sales, operations and supply chain. You will own the planning, insight and modelling behind those decisions, and act as trusted deputy to the Commercial Manager.

You will build credibility with senior leaders, coach a small team, and deliver monthly performance packs and advanced modelling to underpin major commercial decisions. Hybrid NZ manufacturing role.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA with a tertiary qualification in business, commerce or finance.
• Proven commercial finance or business partnering experience, including people leadership.
• Track record partnering with sales on pricing, discounting and rebates.
• Manufacturing experience preferred; understands overhead absorption and factory economics.
• Advanced modelling capability with complex margin models.
• Able to challenge senior leaders with credible evidence.
• Advanced Excel with BI/reporting experience and planning tools.
• Experience building high-performing teams through feedback and development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance business partnering function across sales, operations and supply chain.
• Challenge pricing, discounting and rebate decisions with credible commercial evidence.
• Own the budget and forecast build, including process and timelines across all functions.
• Lead monthly performance reporting and senior leadership packs.
• Deliver advanced volume, price and mix modelling to underpin major decisions.
• Set the direction of the pricing framework using market and competitor intelligence.
• Provide commercial rigour to business cases developed across the team.
• Coach and develop the team, building capability and clear performance expectations.
