Job summary

Air New Zealand is seeking a General Manager Corporate Finance (Corporate Finance Lead) to shape the financial strategy and resilience of the organisation. Reporting to the CFO, you’ll lead Treasury, Investments, Investor Relations and Capital Management, providing trusted advice to the Executive team and Board.

This role calls for senior finance leadership with deep debt and funding knowledge. The position requires navigating complex risk and capital decisions while building high-performing

Qualifications

Senior-level corporate finance experience across funding, capital management and risk.
Knowledge of NZ debt markets or global aviation finance is preferred.
Graduate or postgraduate qualifications in Business, Commerce or Economics.

Responsibilities

Set and execute Treasury policy and Capital Management Strategy.
Lead funding and debt management strategy and access to funding.
Oversee fuel and foreign exchange risk management.
Provide strategic financial advice on investments and capital decisions.
Build relationships with banks, investors and advisors.
Influence senior leadership with clear financial judgement.
