Job summary

Hunter Campbell in East Tamaki, North Island, is seeking a Finance Business Partner to lead a small team and act as the key finance stakeholder for operations.

You will own budgeting, reforecasting, and deliver complex CAPEX models while partnering with non-finance stakeholders to drive commercial outcomes.

This hands-on role offers visibility and autonomy within a practical, no-nonsense business culture.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification required or equivalent.
• Private, owner-operated environment experience preferred.
• Ability to present insights from numbers.
• ERP experience (Dynamics 365) is an advantage.

The business Our client is a privately owned, New Zealand-owned services business with a national footprint and more than five decades of trading history. It operates across several business divisions, runs a lean head office function, and is known for a practical, no-nonsense culture. This is a genuinely commercial finance seat inside a business that still moves like the family enterprise it started as.

As the Finance Business Partner you will be the key finance stakeholder for operations and bring order and pace to a business with real complexity behind it. You'll own a small, capable team and report into the GM Finance.
This is a hands‑on role. You'll be expected to drive outcomes, not just report on them.
