Job summary

FIRST Security in Taupo is seeking a motivated Field Service Officer to install and maintain electronic monitoring equipment for individuals under community-based sentences, across courts, prisons, and residential sites.

You will respond to faults, attend callouts, liaise with field support teams, and provide professional interactions with clients and stakeholders while maintaining high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to think quickly and stay calm under pressure.
• Good level of physical fitness.
• Full NZ Driver’s Licence.
• Ability to pass MOJ criminal convictions check.
• A current COA or the ability to obtain one.
• NZ residency or valid NZ work visa.

Responsibilities

• Installing and maintaining electronic monitoring equipment.
• Responding to equipment faults and alert activations.
• Attending callouts across courts, prisons, and residential locations.
• Liaising with field support teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Providing professional, respectful interactions with clients and stakeholders.
• Assisting in other areas of the business when required.
