Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Technician with 3+ years’ experience.
• Heavy Plant & Equipment qualification preferred but not essential.
• Strong mechanical and hydraulic diagnostic and repair skills.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Reliable, organized, and able to manage a busy workload.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on construction equipment in the field and workshop.
• Fault finding mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues across a range of equipment.
• Providing quality customer service and clear communication with customers and the team.
• Completing job documentation, reports, and warranty paperwork accurately.

The role:

Join TDX as a Field Service Technician and play a key role supporting customers across the region. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing construction equipment, ensuring customers receive reliable and efficient solutions.

This is a hands‑on role suited to a skilled technician who enjoys problem‑solving, working independently, and delivering excellent customer service. You’ll work alongside a supportive team while representing a market‑leading New Zealand‑owned business.
