Job summary

TDX Limited in New Zealand is seeking a trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Technician to service and repair field equipment. You’ll diagnose faults on Volvo, YANMAR, and other CE machinery, travelling to sites as required, while keeping customers informed and maintaining accurate service records.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Technician, ideally in Plant and Equipment.
• Strong mechanical and hydraulic diagnostic skills.
• Good communication and a team attitude.
• Reliable with the ability to manage a busy workload.

Responsibilities

• Carry out diagnostics, repairs and servicing on heavy diesel equipment in the field
• Fault-finding a wide range of CE machinery
• Keep accurate records and communicate clearly with customers and team members
• Support apprentices and less experienced technicians as needed
