Job summary

TDX is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel workshop leader to run day-to-day workshop operations and mentor a team of technicians in New Zealand. The role focuses on safety, efficiency, and delivering high-quality service while reducing on-the-tools time for leadership development.

You will manage workflow, coordinate repairs, and act as a key customer contact throughout the service process, with opportunities for training and career progression within a market-leading business.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of workshop technicians.
• Heavy Diesel trade qualification and strong mechanical experience.
• Excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills.

About The Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the workshop, leading a team of skilled technicians and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. You'll manage workflow, coordinate repairs and servicing, provide technical guidance to technicians, and act as a key point of contact for customers throughout the service process.

This role is ideal for someone looking to reduce their time on the tools while remaining involved in technical problem-solving, mentoring others, and developing their leadership capability. Key Responsibilities
