Job summary

Edwards & Hardy Roofing in Feilding seeks an experienced Operations Manager to drive efficiency across roofing projects. You will oversee day-to-day operations, scheduling, budgeting, safety compliance, and client communication to uphold quality and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction management, strong leadership, superb organisation, and proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in construction management or operations.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and health and safety regulations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to visit multiple job sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational activities including scheduling, resource allocation and workforce management.
• Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Supervise and coordinate roofing teams with focus on health, safety and environment compliance.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to meet company standards.
• Liaise with clients, architects and stakeholders to communicate progress and resolve issues.
• Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
