Job summary

Aline Group in Wellington is seeking an Experienced Roofer / Team Lead to manage on-site workflows across the Palmerston North & Manawatū region. You will install long-run metal roofing, cladding, and flashing systems while guiding crew members and supporting apprentices.

You will communicate clearly with clients, builders, and management about progress, maintain site safety, measure components, and uphold rigorous quality control on diverse residential and commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on metal roofing and re-roofing experience
• Proven ability to guide small crews, delegate tasks, and lead by example on site
• Good communication skills to deal professionally with clients and coordinate smoothly with the crew
• A clean, current New Zealand driver's licence
• A reliable track record with a clean personal/work history and a strong commitment to safety and reliability
• Legally entitled to work in New Zealand (NZ Residency or valid work visa)
• Highly attractive hourly rate reflective of your skills
• A genuine pathway into higher supervisory roles
• Supportive local crew working on diverse residential and commercial jobs
