Qualifications

• Relevant technical or trade qualification (engineering qualification desirable).
• Strong problem-solving, investigative, and analytical skills.
• Experience in customer service and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, with a readiness to learn our work tracking management system.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams while managing competing priorities.
• Full NZ Class 1 driver’s licence; outdoor site work requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice to operational teams on water, stormwater, and wastewater issues.
• Scope requirements for minor work programmes and support improvement work with contractors and engineers.
• Investigate complex network faults and determine resolution or scope of works.
• Review completed maintenance works and verify compliance with standards and specifications.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to address enquiries and maintain relationships.
• Support network monitoring and analyse performance fluctuations to inform decisions.
