Job summary

Hilti New Zealand is seeking an Account Manager in Christchurch to drive growth by managing key customer relationships, promoting innovative Hilti products and services, and exploring new markets. You will join a supportive regional sales team, receive product training, and develop advanced sales skills while contributing to customer success in the construction sector.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing sales experience is essential.
• A trade or technical background is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience within the construction or infrastructure sector.
• Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems is advantageous.
• Strong value-based and solution selling mindset.
• Proven drive for results and a passion for exceeding targets.
• Demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships across multiple stakeholders.
• A flexible team player with a high level of learning agility.
• Resilient and adaptable to dynamic environments such as construction sites and project offices.
• Full, clean New Zealand driver’s license.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Building relationships on the field, meeting customers daily to identify opportunities and create value through long-term, profitable relationships.
• Time and Territory Management (TTM): create a daily schedule with presence on jobsites and client offices to optimize client potential and sales productivity by zone territory.
• Be a Hilti Champion: carry technical knowledge to present high-level customer consultations and represent the Hilti brand in the marketplace.
• Tracking progress: use Salesforce to record interactions and sales activity for reporting.
