PlaceMakers Christchurch is seeking an Account Manager to own an established portfolio of trade customers and identify growth opportunities across the Auckland region. You’ll travel to sites, engage with builders and the trade network, and build strong relationships while delivering tailored material solutions.

The role emphasizes a partner mindset, treating customers as extensions of their business, and growing both parties through proactive account management and market insight.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development.
• Fluency in Fiji Hindi and English.
• Self-motivated, proactive with ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Tech-savvy with comfort using multiple systems.
• Strong knowledge of building materials and construction processes.
• Full NZ Class 1 driver’s licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage an established portfolio of trade customers in the Auckland region.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and grow market share.
• Travel to customer sites, attend industry events and engage with the trade network.
• Partner with customers to deliver tailored solutions and grow their business.
• Drive the full sales process, turning conversations into loyal customers and revenues.
