Job summary

Live Nation Group in Christchurch, New Zealand, is seeking an organised Event Coordinator to help plan, advance and deliver the summer event calendar, from first conversations to on-site delivery and post-event close-out.

You’ll manage site infrastructure, contractor coordination, vendor activations, volunteer logistics, and health and safety requirements, while maintaining operational focus across all workstreams.

Qualifications

• Event operations experience preferred.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication with contractors, volunteers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Event delivery: plan, advance and deliver summer events, including on-site days.
• Site infrastructure: manage toilets, power, water and waste from planning to close-out.
• Contractor coordination: liaise with contractors on schedules, access and signage.
• Vendors and activations: support sponsor activations and event spaces.
• Volunteer coordination: recruit and brief school, sports and community volunteers.
• Health and safety: manage SSSPs, insurance certificates and inductions, accessibility queries.
