Job summary

Vibrant Music Hall in Christchurch, New Zealand is seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to support planning, advancing and delivering our summer event calendar, from early conversations through to on-site delivery.

You will oversee site infrastructure, contractor coordination, volunteers, safety and accessibility, with involvement in bump-in and bump-out, ensuring smooth operations across multiple events.

Qualifications

• Experience in event operations, production or coordination.
• Background with outdoor or festival-style events preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and delivery of summer event calendar.
• Manage site infrastructure, safety, and accessibility tasks.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, volunteers, and activations.
• Assist with admin, reconciliation, and post-event close-out.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
