Ferg Foods Limited – Arrowtown, South Island is hiring a Chef to join Fergbutcher. Based in Queenstown area, the team focuses on high-quality dishes and efficient service.

You will prep ingredients, cook on grills and fryers, and assemble hot sandwiches, burgers and other items following Fergbutcher's recipes and specifications. Join a fast-paced, energetic team with opportunities for career growth across the Ferg Foods venues.

Qualifications

• Full-time hours: 40+ hours per week (contract is minimum 30 hours per week).
• Reliable transport as Fergbutcher is located in Arrowtown.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the quality, consistency and presentation of all food leaving the food truck.
• Maintain strong knowledge of the menu, ingredients and dietary requirements.
• Work efficiently with Front of House and Back of House teams.
• Contribute positively to the team and maintain a professional, reliable and proactive approach.
• Adhering to the Food Control Plan.
• Adhering to Health and Safety policies and standards.

About: Based in beautiful Queenstown where fun and adventure exists all year round, Fergburger started as a hole in a wall down a hard to find alley in 2001. Our focus was on our customers and ensuring they have the best experience & providing the highest quality of food - something we still take pride in today. Fergburger proved to be extremely popular with the locals and tourists, so from 2011 Fergbaker was born and since then we have gone on to open Mrs Ferg Gelateria, Ferg's Bar, Fegbutcher, and soon to join the Ferg Foods group will be Fergbaker Arrowtown, opening very soon! Ferg has become a must do when visiting the Queenstown area.
