Job summary

Mondiale VGL is seeking a FCL Planner & Customer Service Coordinator in Auckland. You will own the end-to-end customer experience, confirm delivery requirements, and coordinate with external transport providers to ensure on-time arrivals.

The role requires 2+ years in transport/logistics or customer service, with a strong focus on accuracy, planning, and communication across teams in a dynamic global logistics environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in Transport or Logistics or Customer Service.
• Familiarity with a Transport Management System (TMS).
• Good working knowledge of the Auckland metro area.

What you'll be doing

• Owning the customer experience — phones, emails, and everything in between, handled promptly and professionally
• Confirming delivery requirements, timeframes, site access, and special instructions directly with customers
• Providing PODs and supporting despatch as needed
• Arranging deliveries with external transport providers
• Securing and managing port bookings (VBS – POAL and Metroport)
• Monitoring port availability, vessel arrivals, and container availability
• Keeping job, booking, and transport data accurate and current in our systems
• Managing changes to delivery dates, times, and customer requirements as they come up
• Working as one team with transport and customer service colleagues to hit operational targets
• Playing your part in a strong health and safety culture — following procedures, reporting hazards and incidents, and looking out for your team

Qualifications

What you'll bring

• 2+ years previous experience inTransport or Logistics preferred & or Customer Service
• Familiarity with a Transport Management System (TMS)
• Good working knowledge of theAuckland metro area
• A genuine customer-first mindset, with the communication skills to match
• Sharp attention to detail and strong numerical/analytical skills
• Excellent planning, organising, and time management abilities
