Job summary

Mondiale VGL Pty is seeking a FCL Planner & Customer Service Coordinator in Auckland to own the end-to-end customer experience and manage deliveries with external transport providers. This role ensures accurate bookings, POD provision, and timely updates to all parties involved.

The successful candidate will coordinate with transport teams, maintain data integrity in our systems, and contribute to a strong health and safety culture while supporting continuous improvements in service delivery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in transport or logistics or customer service.
• Familiarity with Transport Management System (TMS).
• Solid knowledge of Auckland metro area.
• Strong customer-first mindset with excellent communication.
• Sharp numerical and analytical abilities.
• Excellent planning and time management.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer experience across phones and email, promptly and professionally.
• Confirm delivery requirements, timeframes, site access, and instructions with customers.
• Provide PODs and support despatch as needed.
• Arrange deliveries with external transport providers.
• Manage port bookings (VBS – POAL and Metroport) and monitor availability.
• Keep job, booking, and transport data accurate in our systems.
• Adapt to changes in delivery dates and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with transport and customer service to hit targets.
• Contribute to health and safety culture by reporting hazards.
