Job summary

PGG Wrightson in Pukekohe is seeking a Technical Field Representative to support farmers with technical and sales advice across the South Auckland region. The role involves travelling to customers, canvassing new opportunities and collaborating with local store teams.

You’ll draw on a farming or agri background, develop profitable, sustainable solutions, and build lasting relationships with growers. A current NZ driver license and fitness for field work are essential.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of the New Zealand Agriculture sector.
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
• Proven ability to identify and convert new business opportunities.
• Willingness to travel across the region and farm environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and industry expertise to help farmers develop profitable, sustainable solutions.
• Travel throughout the region to advise customers and canvass new opportunities.
• Collaborate with local store teams and broader business to share knowledge.
• Identify crop/field issues and offer fit-for-purpose recommendations.
