Job summary

The University of Auckland is seeking a Facilities and Services Manager to lead the Facilities and Services team within the Faculty of Engineering and Design. You will oversee maintenance, cleaning, space planning and minor capital works, ensuring health and safety, sustainability and environmental standards are met.

We are offering a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) with a salary range of NZD 87,000 to NZD 107,500 per annum, plus generous leave and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a facilities or operations team.
• Demonstrated health and safety compliance knowledge.
• Experience with reporting, administration and information systems.
• Strong teamwork, change management and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the Facilities team.
• Oversee operational plans for Facilities and Services.
• Coordinate Minor Capital Works projects for the faculty.
• Liaise with Property Services for Space Planning.
• Develop relationships with Facilities and Services stakeholders across the University.
• Manage and monitor service delivery of Facilities and Services activities.
