Christchurch Casino is seeking a hands-on maintenance leader to own a varied property and asset portfolio. You will lead a skilled in-house team, manage specialist contractors and ensure planned and reactive maintenance, building compliance and asset improvement activities are delivered safely and effectively.

You will work Monday to Friday, with after-hours support for urgent maintenance incidents and planned shutdowns to minimise disruption and safety risks.

Qualifications

• Experience leading employees and managing specialist contractors.
• Solid knowledge of preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Ability to assess problems and decide repair-vs-replace.
• Strong health and safety and risk controls.
• Experience managing budgets, suppliers and contracts.
• Strong planning, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the in-house maintenance team and contractors.
• Drive planned and preventative maintenance across building services.
• Coordinate response to faults and critical asset issues to minimise disruption.
• Manage safety, quality, cost and delivery with contractors and suppliers.
• Support Building WOF and statutory maintenance with IQPs and providers.
• Assess asset condition and advise on repair, replacement and lifecycle investments.
• Contribute to refurbishments and capital works, integrating new assets into operations.
• Manage expenditure, purchasing and service contracts within delegations.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, sustainability and lifecycle performance.
