Job summary

ENI Manufacturing is seeking skilled fabricators for fixed-term roles at Christchurch, South Island. Two shifts available: dayshift and night shift. You will work on one-off major projects and ongoing BRO jobs, reading drawings, matching tolerances, and delivering high-quality finishes.

We value hands-on experience, a sharp eye for detail and a collaborative attitude. Training and support are provided to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

ENI Manufacturing - Christchurch, South Island

ENI Engineering is a specialist and leading contract manufacturing business, passionate about making metalwork for our large and varied range of clients. From design to delivery, our capabilities include powder-coating, assembly and even site installation, giving us full ownership of the process.

Due to an increase in client demand, we are looking to add three skilled and experienced fabricators to the team on a fixed term basis until Christmas. This role is a fantastic opportunity to work on one-off major projects, as well as contribute to our ongoing "Big, regular and often" (BRO) jobs for our loyal, returning customers.

Two shifts are available:

Dayshift - 7am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, 7am - 1pm Friday

Night Shift - 4pm to 2am Monday to Thursday, including a paid lunch break.

About you

We're on the lookout for a versatile fabricator with broad expertise across fabrication processes. A trade qualification is useful, however we recognise that hands-on experience and demonstrated skill can be just as valuable - so if you've got the know-how and a proven track record, we want to hear from you.

You will need to have at least 2 years of relevant work experience.

Experience with sheetmetal is a big plus, as it brings valuable context to the precision and techniques required in our work. Familiarity with sheetmetal fabrication, tolerances, and finishing processes will help you hit the ground running.

Beyond that, we're looking for someone with a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality work, especially when it comes to sanding and fine finishing. You'll need to be comfortable reading detailed technical drawings, understanding tolerances, and executing precise instructions to spec.

Strong numeracy and literacy skills are essential for interpreting plans and making accurate measurements and calculations.
