Job summary

Hilton Auckland is seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor to lead daily outlet operations and guide the team to deliver memorable guest experiences. You will supervise staff, maintain brand standards, and drive upselling to support revenue targets.

The role requires 2+ years in food and beverage supervisory roles, excellent communication, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays in a bustling hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years work experience within a Restaurant, Cafe, Bar, and/or Banquets.
• Previous supervisory experience within the Food & Beverage department in a 4 - 5 star hotel.
• Excellent communication, grooming, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with guests and team members alike.
• A detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Fulltime and flexible availability - able to work weekends and public holidays.
• Experience in POS ordering systems and cashing up.
• Thrives in busy operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: Support daily outlet operations to ensure smooth service and adherence to brand standards.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain high performance.
• Guest Experience Management: Ensure personalized service, handle guest feedback, and resolve issues promptly to enhance satisfaction.
• Inventory & Cost Control: Monitor stock levels, manage ordering, and control costs to optimize profitability.
• Sales & Revenue Support: Drive upselling initiatives, monitor sales performance, and support revenue targets.
• Compliance & Hygiene: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations across all outlet areas.
• Coordination & Communication: Collaborate with kitchen, housekeeping, and other departments for seamless service delivery.
• Food Safety Regulations: Ensuring that all food safety standards are met.
